CHALLENGES

CUDDLY had been working on a tech platform that was straining at the seams.

Our challenges, over our long relationship, were to stabilize, to add new lines of business, to bring in diligence and processes for payment processing and audits, to rebrand and improve the UX, move to a scalable cloud platform, revamp the email-based marketing platform, and help with the business growth.

CUDDLY enables animal rescues to create fundraisers and gifting wishlists to support animals in their care.

CUDDLY (then PoundWishes) came to us in 2017 with a tech platform that was unable to handle its business growth. Struggling with transaction volume and stability, CUDDLY was finding it difficult to handle existing business, let alone pursue their ideas of a unique concept – gifting products to the animals in need in addition to donations.

Our first task was to add the eCommerce capability by integrating Shopify into a crowdfunding donation platform. We worked with the Shopify API to create a seamless user experience and a gift capability with a three-way payment transfer.

With this success, we have been the tech partners for CUDDLY, handling their technology and helping them set up their own team.

CUDDLY has set up an internal team. We continue to partner with CUDDLY to provide development and QA services. Our team loves the fact that our efforts are helping CUDDLY

CUDDLY saw a 7 fold increase from between September 2017 to April 2020 due to its stable technology base. It has over 2000 shelter and rescue partners. It has funded over 7000 campaigns for animals and has a community of 220,000 animal lovers.
