OptIn is rethinking hiring and shift management from a worker-centric viewpoint. 

OptIn allows workers to find part-time jobs and manage their shifts across employers and provides employers with powerful management tools to view and schedule the workforce and shifts.

CHALLENGES

OptIn is a hiring and shift management platform for hourly wage workers.
When OptIn reached out to us, they were facing challenges in streamlining their development processes. They were looking for a collaborative partner to help solve their core challenges.

Easy shift pick up as per the hourly worker availability and location preference.

Bird’s eye view of the weekly and monthly schedule for easy shift management.

Easy leave request with real-time information about the shifts impacted and approval by the manager.

Option to set availability for specific days and location, helps workers land more hourly gigs.

The app was developed keeping accessibility as a top priority, with bold fonts and bigger icons, since many hourly workers fall in the age group of 40 to 60.

We helped reduce the loading time of the videos to better the overall experience.

For OptIn, we established a modern development stack to support rapid delivery and reliable scaling:

ONGOING

Despite collaborating from two different time zones, building OptIn has been a rewarding experience both in terms of innovation and execution. OptIn’s in-house team has been very welcoming in their approach, and Ignite’s suggestions and feedback have been given deserving consideration at every step of the process.

 

We continue to work closely with the OptIn team to roll out new features and updates, making the platform even better each passing day. Organizational hierarchy structure for enhanced data privacy, and shift swapping for better shift management, are the two new features, which are work in progress currently.
